Eritrea: Residents of Tesenei and Students of Sagim School Undertake Campaign At Martyrs Cemetery in the City

Tesenei — Around 600 residents of Tesenei and students of Sagim School carried out work campaign at the Martyrs Cemetery in the city.

The participants indicated that the task of shouldering support of families is the responsibility of every Eritrean, and that the upkeep of the site where the remains of fallen heroes are laid in peace is an expression of noble respect to martyrs.

Students Efrem Tadesse and Kisanet Woldeab on their part said that the martyrs are living in every Eritrean's memory and that performing work at the cemetery shoulders them big responsibility.

Mr. Mohammed Ismail and Ms. Meaza Tekle said that the peace and serenity that they are enjoying is the outcome of the martyrs. They further reiterated that the support which the people and Government of Eritrea are extending to the families of martyrs emanates from the respect of martyrs. Moreover, taking part in such activities at the Martyrs Cemetery gives them moral satisfaction, they added.
