A member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Executive Committee and Chairperson of the Nigeria Women League, Chief (Mrs.) Dilichukwu Onyedinma has congratulated the Super Falcons for qualifying for the next edition of the African Women Championship holding in Equatorial Guinea later in the year.
In a telephone interview with Trustsports yesterday, Onyedinma said that the qualification of the Falcons was the climax the successes recorded by all the Nigerian women football team in all their qualifying matches.
"This is a dream come through. We have recorded the first hundred percent qualification since the inception of this administration. It is all about God's favour on us, and the total support we received from the leadership of NFF and the whole Nigerians. We want to assure them that we will not rest on our oars until we achieve the ultimate in Azerbaijan and Japan later in year by winning both trophies.
"We are also promising Nigerians that we would retain the Africa Women championship trophy later in the year", Onyedinma stated.
