Lokoja — The Kogi State government has threatened to sanction any contractor who fails to abide by the terms of his/her contract. Governor Idris Wada gave the warning at the weekend while inspecting work on the Okene,Kabba and Iyara township roads.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Arc Yomi Awoniyi, said it will no longer be business as usual for contractors in the state. The governor, who frowned at the poor quality of work done by the contractors handling the Iyara township road, urged the contractors to do a better job.
