A universally acceptable regulatory framework to regulate journalism practice in Nigeria must be put in place to prevent unethical practices and make the job safe, Information Minister Labaran Maku has said.
Maku, who said this Friday at a workshop on the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, commended President Goodluck Jonathan for signing the bill, saying only a president who is committed to democracy and good governance would take such a bold step.
