Rwanda: Security Firms Get CCTV Skills Training

Several security companies from the East African Community (EAC) have completed a two-day training in new technologies regarding Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).

The training which brought together security companies, individual installers, and end users of CCTV, including banks, hotels, and public institutions, took place last week in Kigali.

Speaking at the end of the training, Esca Juma, from Security World Technology, Kenya, said the training was a way of giving back by the company that supplies the technology.

"Basically, the trainers are the manufacturers of CCTV cameras from HIK Vision China, participants got firsthand information from the right people," said Juma

According to Stephen Muyinda, Technical Manager KK Security Uganda, he was able to learn which products suit a particular security point.
