Eritrea: Public Library in Dekemhare Renovated

Dekemhare — The public library in Dekemhare city has been renovated in line with endeavors to enhance its service quality.

Stating that the task was resorted to so as to finalize it before the start of the rainy season, Mr. Kidanemariam Mihretab, Administrator of the library, pointed out that readers are now in a position to enjoy its new conducive environment. He further indicated that the majority of the library's users constitute secondary school students, while the rest are civil servants and other residents of the city who practice reading as leisure pursuit.

Among the users of the library, Mr. Ermias Eyob, a teacher, and student Yohanes Meharena, expressed conviction that it has become suitable for reference and extracurricular activities.
