Rwanda: Gatsibo - Model School to Be Constructed in Gatsibo

A plan to build a model school in Kabarore Sector of Gatsibo district is underway, Gatsibo district has confirmed. The worth 350 million Rfrw construction works will be funded by Plan-Rwanda, a non-Governmental organisation that caters for children mainly. The model school will be multi-purpose and will host sports competitions for the entire Gatsibo district.

"The school won't be like any normal secondary school. It will receive children with disabilities, will have a boarding section, library and laboratory," said Richard, Executive Secretary, Kabarore Sector to Thebasic12.

The school will receive about 540 students in boarding section and among these 190 students will be those with special needs.

The same kind of school will be built in Bugesera district, by plan.
