Tunisia: Interim Prime Minister Inaugurates Electrified Railway Line of Tunis Southern Suburb

Tunis — Interim Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali inaugurated this morning the electrified railway line leading to the Southern suburb of Tunis (Tunis/Borj Cedria), whose cost is estimated at 350 Million Tunisian Dinars (MTD).

At the VIP lounge of Tunis Railway Station, Jebali was briefed about the components, the different stages and the financing of the 23 km-long line and then boarded the train to go to Hammam-lif.

This electrified line has been operational since last April 6.
