The Managing Editor/Publisher of the New Democrat newspaper, Tom Kamara who met his untimely demise on June 8, 2012 while undergoing medical treatment at the St. Luc Hospital in Brussels, Belgium, following a brief illness, will be laid to rest at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Brewerville, outside Monrovia.

The body of Mr. Kamara will be laid in the St. Augustine Episcopal Church on Bardnersville Road, Maryland Center, on Saturday, June 23, 2012, where funeral rites will be said and committal will take place.

There will be a night of wake keeping, Friday, at his residence. Coming from the ELWA area, his residence is located after the Baptist Theological Seminary before reaching the Highway Gas Station on Robertsfield Highway.

The Management of the New Democrat Corporation has opened a Book of Condolence at its offices on Clay Street for those wishing to sign it as mark of remembrance.

Meanwhile, the management has suspended publication beginning Tuesday, June 19, 2012 until Saturday, June 25, 2012.
