Dynamos welcome their star midfielder Denver Mukamba and defender Partson Jaure from national team duty this afternoon but striker Takesure Chinyama is doubtful when they engage Harare City in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Rufaro.
The trio was part of the Warriors squad that was involved in the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this month.
But while the two young players are available for selection this afternoon, DeMbare suffered a setback when Chinyama was injured at their training session at Raylton Sports Club yesterday.
Coach Callisto Pasuwa said his chances of playing are next to zero and he will either turn to Martin Vengesai or Zambian Derrick Kabwe to partner Rodreck Mutuma upfront.
The Glamour Boys, who are coming from a four-week sabbatical, will be seeking to cover some ground after slumping to ninth place on the log standings.
DeMbare have a three-match backlog and a win today could propel them to fourth position in the table.
They have 14 points from seven games, with Highlanders leading the way on 23 from nine starts.
Harare City currently sit in 12th place with eight points.
The Sunshine Boys have struggled to establish themselves in the Premiership and have managed a single victory in nine outings.
Pasuwa said the Glamour Boys are aiming for maximum points and would not be fooled by their opponents' woes.
"I have been telling these guys not to underrate any team. On paper Harare City are a small team because they are still new in the league," said Pasuwa.
"But playing such an opposition is always a tricky affair. We just have to keep focused to take the three points."
DeMbare captain George Magariro is also a doubtful starter as he only started training last week after shaking off injury, which probably means Jaure and Guthrie Zhokinyi will start at centreback.
The coaches are also looking at versatile rightback David Kutyauripo to provide the back up.
Midfielders Leo Kurauzvione, Wonder Sithole and Milton Makopa are also on the injury list.
DeMbare will be expecting more from Mukamba who is getting better with each passing game and has shone in the Warriors' colours.
Bigboy Mawiwi's men have won only one game in 10 starts and the Sunshine Boys coach yesterday said they are eager for a change of fortunes.
City played a practice match against the Warriors last week while DeMbare engaged Black Mambas at the weekend.
City will miss the services of striker Quinton Masika, who is injured, but they will be hoping that their striker Crybet Muvuti, who has grabbed three goals for his side this season, get it right again this afternoon.
"We are ready for the game because we have been working hard during the break.
"Our friendly game against the Warriors gave us the platform to look at our team and everyone is looking forward to the match against Dynamos.
"Our only worry is Quinton Masika who is recovering from an ankle injury. We are just hoping he passes a fitness test," said Mawiwi.
Defender Brighton Tuwaya and midfielder Nathan Ziwini, who had an acrimonious exit from DeMbare, will be back to face his former paymasters.
