Angola: Singer Puto Prata to Perform in Lisbon

Luanda — The Angolan musician Puto Prata is the big attraction at the opening of the Angolan Film Festival "Olhares sobre Angola", which will take place on June 20-21 at Nimas place in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to a source of the organisation, the event "Proposes a visit to Angola by the look of some of the most important Angolan filmmakers wrapped by warm notes of one of most prominent Angolan rappers of today", referring to Puto Prata.

The "Olhares sobre Angola", according to its technical manager, Jorge Antonio, "aims to unite communities with the culture of both countries which have to the Republic of Angola a common interest and purpose".

Organised by the cultural association Cha de Caxinde/Portugal, in partnership with the lawyer society BPO and the marketing "Xiiks" company, the event will display during two days, the short films "Momentos de Gloria" by Coréon Du; "Amanha sera Diferente", by Poças Pascoal; "Kunta", by Angelo Torres, and "Alambamento" by Mario Bastos.
