Nigeria: Jonathan, Security Chiefs for Senate Retreat in Uyo

President Goodluck Jonathan and the security chiefs will be at the Senate retreat holding next week in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Capital, the chairman of the planning committee, Senator Aloysious Etok (PDP, Akwa Ibom North-West), has said.

Addressing journalists in Abuja today, Senator Etok said the Director General of the State Security Services, Ita Ekpenyong, would be the key speaker of a lecture

titled "National Assembly and Contemporary Security Challenges"; while the National Security Adviser, General Andrew Owoeye Azazi; the Acting Inspector General of

Police, Mohammed Abubakar; the Chief of Army Staff, General Azubuike Ihejirika; the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petirin and the Chief of Naval

Staff, Vice Admiral Ola Saheed Ibrahim are expected as resource persons.
