Lafia — The Nigerian Telecommunication Commission (NCC), has dispelled rising fears over the possible environmental threat from the rising number of telecom masts and towers across the country, saying they do not pose any risk.
"Research conducted by the World Health Organisation and other technical research institutes has not yet shown any risk to human life as a result of radiation emanating from telecom equipment like masts and towers", Engr. Peter Igoh, Chairman, Board of Commissioners of the NCC said in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
