Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) spokesperson Erick Mwanza, said he was confident that the local players summoned to camp would be up to the challenge.

Mwanza said FAZ will use the mid-season break that starts after the weekend matches to call the squad to intensive training ahead of the Malawi friendly.

And Mwanza said the Under-20 soccer team will start its preparations for the CAF Africa Youth Championships qualifiers second round, first leg match against Lesotho set for the weekend of July 27-29 with the return leg scheduled for August 11 in Lusaka.
