Nigeria: Kaduna Relaxes Curfew By Four Hours

Kaduna — Kaduna State government yesterday relaxed the 24 hour curfew imposed on the state by four hours for today and Sunday to allow for Muslims and Christians to fast and pray for lasting peace in the state.

Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa announced the reduction in the curfew hours in a statement last night soon after a security meeting.

He said for today the curfew will be relaxed between 12 noon and 4pm to allow Muslims attend Jumaat prayers while on Sunday it will be relaxed from 9am to 1pm.
