Gambia: Marcus Garvey Fc Boosted

The Alan and Carole Brand Foundation Thursday donated sporting gears to the Marcus Garvey Football Club of Tobacco Road in Banjul in a ceremony held at the KG5 mini-stadium in Banjul.The donated items included football jerseys used by renowned English Premier League Club Newcastle United, footballs and T-shirts.
Speaking on behalf of the Alan and Carole Foundation, Abraham Suwareh thanked those present for gracing the occasion before giving a brief rundown of the activities of the Foundation. He said the donated items will serve as a morale boost for the team as they hope to put up a respectable performance in this year's Banjul Nawettan.
