Luanda — The 10 de Julho musical band, belonging to the Angolan Navy (MGA), presented Friday in Luanda to members of the military unit their latest CD entitled "A voz do marinheiro".
The event took place at the Naval Base in Luanda where members of the group staged a promotion show of the 18-track album.
Speaking to ANGOP, the singer Sabino Henda made known that the work was recorded in Angola and its mastering and finishing in Portugal and has the participation of musicians Antonio Paulino, Beto de Almeida and Orlando Loy.
According to Sabino Henda, the album with musical styles such as Semba and Rumba interpreted in national languages Kimbundu, Umbundo and Portuguese, have 2,000 copies to be distributed to the staff of the three branches of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
The "10 de Julho" band were formed in 1987 by a group of soldiers assigned to the Angolan Navy and are composed of musicians, dancers, prose writers, among other artists.
