At an exciting launch ceremony of the Economist Businesswomen Conference in the North to be held in Oshakati on 09 August, the main sponsors Telecom and Standard Bank confirmed their commitment to enable the Economist Businesswomen Club to continue with its work among female business and professional women.

The 13th annual Northern conference is hosted in partnership with the Conference Patron, the 1999 Businesswomen of the Year, Sara Elago.

The chairperson of the Economist Businesswomen projects, Desèré Lundon-Muller said "the conference is tailored for all women who want to increase their professionalism, job satisfaction and add value to their organisations.

It also has a strong emphasis on encouraging and promoting female entrepreneurs."
