Egypt: Industry Ministry, Bue Signed a Cooperation Protocol to Meet Industry Needs

Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Dr. Mahmoud Eissa and Chairman of the British University in Egypt (BUE) Dr. Ahmed Hamza on Thursday 21/06/2012 signed a cooperation protocol that aims to create a distinguished generation of graduates, thus meeting the needs of industry in various fields and disciplines, linking industry to the scientific research, developing industry and solving the problems facing it.

Minister Eissa said that the ministry is providing technical assistance to the Advanced Technological Center the university is planning to establish for the manufacture of spare parts in cooperation with the Egyptian companies, the advanced technological centers and the ministry.

The Minister pointed out that this cooperation helps in providing students with opportunities for summer training as well as implementation of projects in the companies, factories, and bodies affiliated to the ministry. He added that this method will help students to gain the scientific skills that qualify them to join the labor market.
