Egypt: Renaissance Dam Assessment Committee to Meets in Addis Ababa On September

In an atmosphere characterized by transparency and openness, the tripartite commission to assess the Renaissance Dam of Ethiopia concluded its meetings in Cairo Thursday 21/06/2012.

Experts from Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt as well as the international experts - who are members of the commission - agreed to hold their next meeting during the period from 14 to 21 September in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Dr. Hesham Qandil said that it was agreed to organize field visits for experts to the dam's location on the Sudanese-Ethiopian borders to inspect the latest construction works.
