East Africa: Express Set to Play Sudan Giants El Merriekh and El Hilal

Express Football Club's thirst for excellence is not about to be quenched.

The Bell Uganda Super League champions will have build-up friendlies in Sudan and Tanzania for the forthcoming season.

Express will start off the Khartoum visit with a match against Sudanese giants El Merriekh tomorrow before taking on El Hilal on Tuesday.

The Red Eagles in a contingent of 22 players and four officials arrived in Sudan on Friday night. Both Khartoum matches kick-off at 8pm. Express have also lined up matches against Tanzanian giants Simba.

"Besides exposure ahead of the 2012-13 season, we are also marketing our players. We shall have more such friendless to strengthen ourselves," explained Express official Kavuma Kabenge.

Express have lately had build-up matches in Sudan, Tanzania and the Far East.
