Hit man and controversial musician, Guru, is optimistic that his new single, 'Karaoke', produced by Ball J. and featuring Joe B. will make an impact before June 30, 2012, ahead of the biggest show in town, Ghana meets Naija.
The artiste, who is promising more fire and electrifying performance on the day at the Dome, Accra International Conference Center, revealed to 18newspaper.com in a chat, during his rehearsal session.
Empire Records Manager, Daniel Obeng, who was present during the chat also added that currently the popular term in town are only two, which are 'Anything goes' and 'Lapaz Toyota'.
Let me tell you something, he added, we know last year we were not the center of attraction, but this year, we will rock the stage, fans of Guru should make sure they grab the front seat because he is in shape and would be crowned the best performer of the night.
'Karaoke' and 'Lapaz Toyota', the current hit songs in town and receiving high play from the pubs and clubs, down to radio stations, will spread among the masses before 30th June, 2012, Mr. Daniel contended.
Guru smiled as he spoke passionately, noting we are all praying for a good day, may God bless us with Life on June 30th and the evening will be different, we will roar like a lion in the jungle, don't forget its all about Empire entertainment.
The heat is on, the countdown is on, if you have not grabbed your ticket do so now. It is the gathering of the finest, set to take the crowd to cloud nine.
