Sudan: Air Force Bombing in Darfur Lasts for Hours

El Fasher — The Sudanese Air Forces have bombed East Jebel Marra on Sunday morning, as various sources have reported to Radio Dabanga.

Antanov planes attacked the areas of Sabi, Mashruh Abuzaid and Kira in the East Jebal Marra area in North Darfur.

Ahmed Yacoub, the spokesperson of the SLA-Justice (Katbino) told Radio Dabanga that airstrikes started at 10 AM Sunday morning and continued until the afternoon. The bombing forced citizens to flee into the valleys and mountains.

Some headed towards the Zam Zam camp near El Fasher. Ahmed Yacoub also told Radio Dabanga that the air strike killed ten [10] cows in the Kira Kira and fifteen [15] sheep in the Sabi area.
