Nigeria: Boko Haram - Ex-Katsina Governor Urges Northern Leaders to Speak up

Former Military Governor of Katsina State and Commander Guards Brigades, Colonel John Madaki (rtd) has called on religious and political leaders from the northern part of the country to be more unequivocal in condemning incessant bombings in parts of the country.

Madaki, who made this call in a circulated press statement in Abuja yesterday, described the bombings and consequent killing and maiming of innocent citizens as "senseless and barbaric."
