According to Aujourd'hui (pp. 2-4) former president Laurent Gbagbo's lawyers have decided to follow up on a case the ex-leader has filed against the French Licorne forces in Cote d'Ivoire. The daily argued that the move, which came ahead of the hearing of the former president by the ICC, primarily aims at shedding light on the role the French army played in the crisis that raged in Cote d'Ivoire until his April 11, 2011 capture.
