Egypt: Tantawi, Anan, Ganzouri, Muafi and Shafik Congratulate Elected President Morsi

Head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi has congratulated Mohamed Morsi on winning the presidential election.

Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Sami Anan congratulated Mohamed Morsi over being announced Egypt's president.

General Intelligence service Chief Murad Muafi sent a cable of congratulations to President-elect Mohamed Morsi.

Moreover, Prime Minister Kamal el-Ganzouri congratulated Dr. Mohamed Morsi on his victory in the presidential race.

For his part, defeated presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq has congratulated Mohamed Morsi on being elected Egypt's new president.

In a cable to Morsi on Sunday 24/6/2012, Shafiq wished the president-elect success in his difficult mission.
