Electricity and Energy Minister Dr. Hassan Younis on Monday 25/5/2012 said 1800 megawatt will be added for national power grid next month to operate Abu Kair and west Damietta stations at LE 12 billion investments.
The minister pointed out that operating tests will be started next week, adding Abu Kair steam station will be operated with a capacity of 1300 megawatt , while west Damietta with 500 megawatt.
