Angola: Over 20,000 Children to Receive Polio Vaccine

Dundo — About 250,000 children aged 0 to 5 will receive polio vaccine during a campaign happening from 29 June to July 1, in Lunda Norte Province.

According to the local public health director, Inês Pequenino, 600 vaccinators were recruited for the campaign, as well as fixed vaccination posts were also set up in residential and public areas of the province.

Inês Pequenino explained that material and logistic conditions are guaranteed so that the campaign is extended to all localities which border the Democratic Republic of Congo.
