Angola: Judoka Faia Promises Surprises in London Olympic Games

Luanda — The Angolan judoka, Antonia de Fátima "Faia" promised Thursday in Luanda to do everything in the London2012 Olympics Games so that her participation is crowned with success, given the proper preparation which she is doing and the motivation brought from the Romania world championship where she won the bronze medal.

Speaking at a press conference after the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Judo federation and TV Record Angola, the athlete said that after the bronze the motivation is even greater to compete in the Olympics, which is her second participation.

Faia stated that the fact of being away from the family she has left nothing better than to engage in the Olympics.

"I will give my best in these games and look forward to win all opponents. I know it will be very difficult, but the Angolans can be assured that I will fight calmly" she said.
