Arsenal Football Club is an English Premier League football which will play against Nigeria

English Premier League club Arsenal will today announce their opponents for their summer tour of Nigeria. Tour organizers Danjan Sports say the opposition is likely to be a leading African national team.

DanJan Sports also announced that tickets will go on sale across selected outlets from July 4. Selling arrangements will also be revealed tomorrow at the same time as the opponents.

Arsenal are expected to arrive on August 5, according to DanJan's David Omigie: "It was important to confirm Arsenal first-team squad's arrival date. We have worked out ticket details and finalised the opposition."

It will be the Gunners' first match on Nigerian soil. The visit to Nigeria will conclude an exciting pre-season tour schedule for Arsenal, who returns to both China and Malaysia in July, following the success of last term's Asia Tour.

The Club last visited Africa during a tour to South Africa in July 1993, and are returning as a result of the fantastic support which exists for the team, not only in Nigeria, but across the entire continent.
