Nigeria: Jonathan for WCO Summit in Belgium

President Goodluck Jonathan will today leave the country for Brussels, Germany to attend the World Customs Organisation summit.

A statement by presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, said Jonathan will leave Abuja today after the Federal Executive Council meeting on a one-day official visit to Belgium.

The statement said: "President Jonathan is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the summit of the WCO in Brussels on Thursday.

The president is to be accompanied by the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, Senator Dahiru Kuta and Rep. Chinda Ogundu.
