Nigeria: Trial of Bank Chiefs - Court Permits Nwosu, Famoroti, to Travel Abroad

Lagos — A Lagos High Court in Ikeja has granted the former Managing Director of FinBank Plc, Mr Okey Nwosu, who is standing trial in a N16.2 billion fraud suit instituted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), permission to travel out of the country for medical treatment.

The judge, Justice Lateefa Okunnu, also granted leave to the second defendant, Dayo Famoroti to do same. He then ordered the Chief Registrar of the court to release the international passports of both defendants to them.
