Nigeria: NDLEA Arrests 200, Intercepts 1,700 KG of Hard Drugs in Plateau

The Plateau Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted 1,700 kg of hard drugs and arrested 200 suspects this year, the Commander, Mr Ralph Igwenagu, announced on Tuesday in Jos.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark this year's International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Igwenagu said that the state recorded the largest seizure of Indian hemp weighing 1,489 kg during the period.
