Cote d'Ivoire: 'Cote d'Ivoire to Reinforce Cooperation With Israel,' Says President Ouattara

press release

A front-page headline in Fraternite Matin quotes President Alassane Ouattara as saying that "cooperation between Cote d'Ivoire and Israel is to be reinforced." The president said this yesterday upon arrival from Israel at the end of a four-day visit. Another banner headline in this paper says that the visit focused on security, business, agriculture, mining and energy issues. "We met many businessmen who are expected in Cote d'Ivoire during the period of July 8 - 10, 2012," the paper (p. 6) quotes President Ouattara as saying to reporters. The report also says that during his visit to Israel, the president attended the forum "Facing Tomorrow 2012."
