Nigeria: Police Transfer Alleged Killer of DIG to Abuja

Kano — A suspected killer of late DIG Saleh Ningi who was assassinated in Kano earlier this month has been arrested by the police in Kano and subsequently transferred to Abuja, the Kano state Commissioner of police, Ibrahim K. Idris has said.

The suspect whose name is given as Salihu Goni, 34 was arrested in Hotoron Haye in Kano city after a tip off by a resident, Mr. Idris told reporters during a press briefing at the state police headquarters.
