Egypt: 31 Percent Rise in Tourists Visiting Egypt in April

The number of foreign tourists visiting Egypt in April this year rose to 1.05 million compared to 800,000 the same month last year, marking an increase of about % 31.

A bulletin issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said on Wednesday 27/6/2012 the numbers were low last year following the January 25th Revolution.

However, it did not reach the level of April 2010 which saw 1.2 million tourists visiting Egypt.
