Eritrea: Inhabitants of Afhimbol Administrative Area Express Satisfaction With Social Service Facilities

Dige — The inhabitants of Afhimbol Administrative area, Dige sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with social service facilities in the area.

Mr. Yusuf Ali, the Area administrator, stated that social service facilities there have by and large improved the livelihood of the inhabitants, in addition to the establishment of agro-industry and factories. The inhabitants of Afhimbol Administrative area have become beneficiaries of health, educational, potable water supply and other facilities, and that irrigation farming has been enhanced there in line with the abundance of water resources.

Indicating that the community's awareness as regards education is growing, Mr. Mohammed Ali, a teacher, asserted that 93% of students in the locality have passed in the current academic year. Among the inhabitants, Mr. Osman Hamd Kisha and Mr. Idris Saleh Hamd, equally expressed conviction that they have effectively utilized the available educational facility.
