Nairobi — A year after the government put labeling regulations on importation of all Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) Products, the Cereal Millers Association is crying foul that the rules have hindered importation.
Chief Executive Officer Paloma Fernandez said on Thursday that the number of applications from millers and other stakeholders to import or trade in GMO's was minimal because of fear of contravening the conditions.
