Angola: Cuban Parliament Speaker in Luanda

Luanda — The Cuban National Assembly speaker, Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada, arrived Thursday afternoon in Luanda for a four-day official visit to Angola, as part of the cooperation existing between the parliaments of both countries.

The Cuban official was welcomed at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport by the acting speaker of the Angolan National Assembly, João Lourenço.

During his stay in Angola, Ricardo Alarcon will meet with the local Parliament speaker, António Paulo Kassoma.

He is also expected to meet with members of the Angolan Government and visit some social, cultural and economic undertakings.

Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada will also speak to a lecture on "Cuba: Options and perspectives" for MPs, magistrates, Government officials and members of the civil society.
