Angola: Ambassador Joaquim De Lemos Presents Letters

Ashkhabad — Angolan ambassador Joaquim Augusto de Lemos presented on June 26 the figured letters to the first vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Vepa Khadjiev, having discussed some issues of common interest between the two countries.

This is expressed in a press release from the Angolan Embassy to the Central Asian country.

According to the source, the diplomat visited on the same day the headquarters of the local Parliament where he officially delivered the credentials to the Speaker Akdja Nurberdieva, for his accreditation as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Angola in the Republic of Turkmenistan.

As part of his visit to the capital Ashkhabad, Joaquim Augusto de Lemos went to the National Mausoleum where are buried the remains of the first president, Saparmurat Niyazov and his family.

Joaquim Augusto de Lemos was later received by the vice minister of Agriculture, Redger Baguirov, with whom he discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation.
