Gambia: Ghana Town Police Station Boosted

Ghana Town Police Station in Brufut was recently renovated by the Better Community Association (BCA), a grassroots organisation based in Bakau. The facelift, which cost about D35, 000, has brightened up the police station.

Speaking to this reporter, the president of BCA, Joy Buchanan, said they are proud to complement government's efforts and make their own small contribution to the development of the community and the country at large. She lauded President Jammeh's launch of 'Operation Bulldozer' adding that this would help in combating crime.
