Nigeria: NSA Dasuki Visits Maiduguri

Maiduguri — New National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) has paid a visit to Maiduguri, Borno state.

The NSA is currently in a closed door meeting with the Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, security chiefs, traditional rulers, religious groups and other relevant stakeholders on how to restore peace to the state.

During the courtesy call on the governor, the NSA said he as in the state to see things for himself and that he had been mandated by the President o ensure that permanent peace is restored in the state.
