Sudan: Residents East Jabal Marra Flee After Seven Days of Consecutive Bombing

Zalingei — The Sudanese Air Force (SAF) bombed the area of East Jebel Marra, including the towns of Abu Hamra, Dabaneira in the South Darfur state.

An eyewitness told Radio Dabanga that the SAF have dropped five to ten bombs per day for seven consecutive days now.

An eyewitness told Radio Dabanga that the SAF have dropped five to ten bombs per day for seven consecutive days now. A large number of cattle perished as a result of the airstrikes, including seventy sheep and seventeen camels. He also stated that the inhabitants of these areas are increasingly fleeing their homes and traveling to Al Malam in hope of more safety.
