ZAMBIA has continued recording a trade surplus with the May 2012 figure rising to K278.3 billion compared to K129.6 billion for April the same year.
Central Statistical Office (CSO) Director, John Kalumbi said in Ndola yesterday that since January this year, the country had monthly surpluses with the highest valued at K351.2 billion in January while the lowest was K47.4 billion in February.
