Tunisia: Moody's Delegation in Tunisia Next July 2-4

Tunis — Experts from the American Moody's rating agency are to visit Tunisia next July 2-4, as part of Tunisia's annual external financial risk assessment.

The delegation members will review the present economic situation and estimates for 2013. They are to assess the development level of the Tunisian economy's key sectors (tourism, manufacturing sector, agriculture, food industry and services).

Experts of Moody's will also enquire about the measures taken by the government to improve the country's business climate and the Government's main economic priorities.

Besides, they will discuss with several Tunisian officials such issues as the taxation and budget policies (State budget, revenues, expenses, public enterprises, etc.), the monetary policies (inflation, monetary aggregates and foreign debt) and the banking sector.

The mission of Moody's will take interest in the latest developments in the job market and work stoppages that touch on several sectors and regions of the country.
