Luanda — Officials with the SADC journalism prize want that the amount of 2,000 dollars to be increased, as well as the nomination of three candidates in each category, ANGOP has learnt.

This was announced on Thursday by Angola's Mass Media minister, Carolina Cerqueira, at the closing act of the Regional Committee Meeting, whose works will take place until June 29.

On the occasion, the official said that the Media Ministers of the region will debate the increase of the amount of the prize, as well as analyse various issues related to the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region.
