Southern Africa: SADC Journalism Prize Deserves Special Attention - Media Minister

Luanda — Angola's Mass Media minister, Carolina Cerqueira, considered Thursday here that the themes of the SADC journalism prize linked to regional integration and hydric resources deserve a special attention.

The minister said that this is due to the fact that integration is more and more important in the fight against poverty in the region.

The official said so at the closing act of the regional committee of the SADC journalism prize that will take place until June 29.

"It is a satisfaction to know that you could follow Angola's growth. After a long period of war, the country improves itself day after day towards effective and real development, through its cadres and is becoming a country with an acceptable growth pace towards modernity", she said.
