Angola: Minister to Inaugurate Kuito Kuanavale Airport Friday

Luanda — The airport of Kuito Cuanavale, in Kuando Kubango Province, will be inaugurated this Friday, in a ceremony presided over by the minister of Transport, Augusto da Silva Tomás, as part of the construction and modernisation programme of ports, airports and railway infrastructures, in the country.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Transport that ANGOP had access to, on June 30, the experimental train for the Namibe/Lubango route, of the Moçamedes Railway, will be inaugurated.

The minister Augusto Tomás has inaugurated also the main stations and stops at Benguela Railway, Kunje, Bié, passing through Huambo, and the stations of Viana, Kapalanga, Entroncamento, Baía, Catete, Barraca, Zenza do Itombe, Cassualala and Dondo, of the Luanda Railway.
