Zambia: ZITF Officially Opens Today

PRESIDENT Michael Sata is today expected to officially open the 48th Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Ndola.

According to a programme released by the ZITF management yesterday the official opening would start at 09:00 hours while the tour of selected stands would begin at 09:20 hours and last up to 11:30 hours.

The annual event, which is being held under the theme 'Creating Synergies beyond Borders,' has attracted more than 700 companies. Gates opened to the public on Wednesday and by yesterday more people trooped to the ZITF grounds in the industrial area. The event would come to an end on Tuesday next week.
