Egypt: EGP 4 Billion for Power Generating Station With 650 Megawatt in Assiut

The electricity and energy sector considers establishing Assiut power generating station at a capacity of 650 megawatt to meet citizens' needs and future plans of development, said Electricity and Energy Minister Hassan Younis.

The Minister pointed out that a five-year plan's projects will be carried out after completing implementation of the projects of the current plan, adding all funds of the projects have been provided.
